Venture Weather
Venture Weather is an iOS app that provides a “single pane of glass” to quickly view weather in areas where you frequently venture out in nature. The app was built to be able to quickly assess temperature, wind, precipitation, etc. when you’re about to head out for a ride, run, ski, or whatever, and want to understand the conditions. This allows you to make quick decisions about what area you might want to go ride in, or simply what clothing you’ll need. Furthermore, it uses “hyperlocal” weather, typically based on latitude-longitude (precise location), instead of the limited location (e.g. city name only) many weather apps provide.
